| Early 20th century Egyptian brass vase with alternating medallions of Egyptian scenes and Islamic calligraphy. There are concentric rings of a chain pattern above and below the belly, and the shoulder has a ring of animals around it. The vase measures 8.5" in diameter and 10" high, the base is 7.75" across with a 5" inside diameter at the top opening. It weighs about 2.5 pounds. This was once a lamp conversion at one point as the flared base appears to have been added to the vase for stability, and there is a filled in hole on the side. | ||
