Inkwell in the form of a recumbent camel. The cold painted polychrome over white casting metal is in near perfect condition, with one small area of loss on the back of the neck. The saddle on the camel is a hinged lid, unfortunately, the hinge is broken, and the glass liner is missing. The price reflects these conditions. Circa 1890, it measures 9.5" long, by 5.5" tall, by 4" wide, and weighs about 2.5 pounds. This style of inkwell was made in two sizes, this is the larger sized model.
