| Meticulously hand carved Samovar from The Indo Persian region of Central Asia.. This particular samovar has foliate detail featuring flowers and leaves, with a serpent handle, and ornamental openwork at the base, where the ashes are cleared from. It is in very good condition, and appears to have been used for display only. The lid had a smaller lid for access to the coal chamber tube which heats the water from within Measuring 10" tall, and 12" from handle to spout, weighing a little over two pounds. This is estimated to be made 40 to 50 years ago. | ||
