| This unique pot has amazing detail and texture to it's carved Persian design. The floral trefoil design across the belly is a typical Persian theme popular during the Qajar (Victorian) period. There is also a floral band near the top, and the bottom is ringed in alternating flower and shield medallions. This amazing 19th century pot is free of dents, but does have a uniformly "bumpy' feeling to it. The opening is slightly off round, which is detected by feel. only. Measuring 8" (20cm) across, by 10.4" (26cm) tall, it weighs over 2 pounds (1 Kilo) before packing. | ||
