| Middle Eastern or North African hand of Fatimah cast brass doorknocker. This appears to be made by the sand cast method. The finish is a little rough from manufacture, and it shows wear where the ball hits the striker. Most of the time, these are found as two separate pieces that are mounted separately to the door. This is a much rarer one-piece design. It has four screw holes and is ready to mount. It measures 4.75" long by 3" across, by 2" deep, and weighs a little under a pound. | ||
