| A very unusual powder flask made from a sheep's scrotum and penis sheath. It's stitching is similar to a baseball with what appears to be sinew. There are patterns and textures embossed into the skin, and there is Islamic calligraphy along the top edge and both sides of the belly as well. The designs are more apparent with subtle dyeing. This piece retains it's belt clip, and the end cap is missing. There is a slight 2" surface crack and a nick on the neck, and a dent on one side. The other side shows perfectly. Ca 1850- 1880 This unique flask measures 9" X 3.5" and weighs 5 ounces. | ||
