Throughout the Islamic world, it is a tradition to greet road-weary travelers and guests with a refreshing sprinkle of rosewater or orange blossom water. This charming blue Moroccan glass and embossed white brass bottle was made for this purpose, although I have seen people buy them for use as incense burners. Standing nearly 8 1/2" tall and measuring 2.75 " across, this unique piece is filled with astounding charm. The bottle weighs 1/2 pound before packing.

A smaller scale Moroccan shoeshine box intended for use as a personal valet for maintaining one's clothing and shoes. Various bottles for cleaning products as well as rose water and and other perfuming agents. It measures 12" long, by 11.5" tall, by 5" deep, and weighs about 8 pounds before packing. Although one would usually associate this style of shoeshine box with Turkey, the enameling is consistent in color and texture to Moroccan enamel, and I have seen similar full sized shoeshine boxes in use in Morocco in the past.
