The metal components are applied over a base made from an old Afghan woven Kufi hat. There is sort of a decorated flower spike on top with dangles and bells. Vintage Brazier or Censer likely a reproduction of an earlier design. At first glance, the overall design appears to be Qajar Persian with the typical themes of birds and deer. However, it is marked with the name of the manufacturer and "made in Greece". The design is subtly carved with pierced areas which will let light through if a candle is burned within. The inside seems to be painted gold, perhaps to enhance reflectivity. This has water marks inside from previous use as a planter. The body of the piece is made of hand worked copper, and the handles are cast brass. This has three handles which is unusual for this sort of piece, possibly symbolic of the Holy Trinity. Measuring 7" high, by 10" across, this highly unusual piece weighs about 3 pounds.

A smaller scale Moroccan shoeshine box intended for use as a personal valet for maintaining one's clothing and shoes. Various bottles for cleaning products as well as rose water and and other perfuming agents. It measures 12" long, by 11.5" tall, by 5" deep, and weighs about 8 pounds before packing. Although one would usually associate this style of shoeshine box with Turkey, the enameling is consistent in color and texture to Moroccan enamel, and I have seen similar full sized shoeshine boxes in use in Morocco in the past.
