This 19th century brass Mughal oil lamp has 3 fonts embelleshed with tigers. There are peacocks and foliate designs etched across the belly of the lamp. It unscrews above the fonts for refilling the oil. The chain and hook are hand made. It measures 12.5" high, and 4.5" across the belly, and 6" at it widest spread of fonts, and weighs nearly 3.5 pounds.

Anglo Indian ammunition box used for storing bullets (cartridges). Measure 4" X 5" by 1.5" and weighs about a pound. Mid to late 19th century. Lions gracing the urn appear to be a crest of some sort. It shows a little wear and has very attractive embellishments.

A very large zinc over copper tray featuring scenes from the Achaemenid period of Persian history. The quqlity of the carving is exceptional. It measures 27.5" across with a piecrust edge 2.5" deep and weighs 9 pounds. A very sturdy tray suitible for use as a tabletop.

19 C. Persian Qajar Dynasty Round Tile removed from a building, unfortunately was cracked during removal, and subsequently repaired. There is a tile from the building stuck to the back of the tile. 16" across. Features a Persian woman pouring wine from a jug into a flask.

I was very lucky to find this 19th century Divali or "Festival of lights" Indian oil lamp. The vertical parts have been hand cast, and show some have a very detailed and refined design, yet show some imperfections from the molding processes. The font and base are both hand spun. then the pieces were skillfully fitted together. It measures 19" high by 7" across and weighs 3.25 pounds

The opening of the caged area has a pair of peacocks on either side. It is in very good condition. Measuring 8.5" tall, and 6" in diameter, and weighing one and a quarter pounds before packing, this is far more solid and substantial than usual for Kashmir brass work from this period, This is estimated to be made in Kashmir 100 to 150 years ago.

A simple and charming Indo Persian silvered copper Huqqa base. Featuring finely etched jungle animals around the belly with a band of Islamic script, and simple flowers encircling above. The area near the top is extensively worn from years of use. There is also a dent near the top. This is a slightly unusual shape as the hose fitting is built into the huqqah itself. It measures 11.5" high by 6" in diameter and weighs 2 pounds.

It has some amazingly fine foliate detail featuring flowers and leaves, with a serpent handle, and is in excellent condition, Measuring 3.5" tall, and 2.75" across. Weighing a quarter pound this are far more solid and substantial than usual for Kashmir copperwork from this period, this pot is quite solid. This piece is estimated to be made in Kashmir 100 to 150 years ago.

This unusual Indo Persian Samovar is plated in tin and intricately carved in a geometric floral design and a silver wash which is mostly worn revealing the copper below. It measures 16" to the top of the coal chamber and 7" in diameter across the belly, with a spread of 9" from the dragon handle to the spout etched with a fish. By the mineral deposits within, it appears to have been well used. The lid is missing. The overall condition is good with a dent at the fretwork base. It weighs 7 pounds before packing.
