Meticulously hand carved Indo Persian Samovar. Made of silver coin metal alloy. This particular samovar has some amazingly fine foliate detail featuring flowers and leaves with a serpent handle, and fancy ornamental openwork at the base. There is a central chamber for hot coals, and a separate secondary lid which covers it. It is in very good condition. This appears to be unused and the interior silvering is clean and intact. Measuring 11 " tall, 5" in diameter, and 9" from handle to spout, and weighing a little over 2.25 pounds before packing. This is estimated to be made in Central Asia 40 to 60 years ago.

19 C. Persian Qajar Dynasty Round Tile removed from a building, unfortunately was cracked during removal, and subsequently repaired. There is a tile from the building stuck to the back of the tile. 16" across. Features a Persian woman pouring wine from a jug into a flask.

A simple and charming Indo Persian silvered copper Huqqa base. Featuring finely etched jungle animals around the belly with a band of Islamic script, and simple flowers encircling above. The area near the top is extensively worn from years of use. There is also a dent near the top. This is a slightly unusual shape as the hose fitting is built into the nargile itself. It measures 11.5" high by 6" in diameter and weighs 2 pounds.

19th century Divali or "Festival of lights" Indian oil lamp. The vertical parts have been hand cast, and show some have a very detailed and refined design, yet show some imperfections from the molding processes. The font and base are both hand spun. then the pieces were skillfully fitted together. It measures 19" high by 7" across and weighs 3.25 pounds

A delicate sterling silver perfume flask embellished with a foliate motif. The lid is formed as leaves bunched together. Around the neck, bottom and belly are delicate grape vines. Above the belly is a repeat of scallops topped by a gathering of acanthus leaves culminating at the neck. This finely wrought bottle measures 5.25" tall, by 2.75" across, and weighs 3.3 ounces.

This unusual Indo Persian Samovar is plated in tin and intricately carved in a scrolly floral design with a niello finish. It has rings to tie straps to the back of a camel or horse. It measures 17" to the top of the coal chamber and 8" in diameter across the belly and at the fretwork base and weighs 7 pounds before packing. Unfortunately, this samowar has a dent on one side, but still displays well.

This unusual Indo Persian Samovar is plated in tin and intricately carved in a geometric floral design and a silver wash which is mostly worn revealing the copper below. It measures 16" to the top of the coal chamber and 7" in diameter across the belly, with a spread of 9" from the dragon handle to the spout etched with a fish. By the mineral deposits within, it appears to have been well used. The lid is missing. The overall condition is good with a dent at the fretwork base. It weighs 7 pounds before packing.

*This is an intricately carved Persian Qajar Tray with a hunting motif. The center and cartouches feature intricately carved hunting scenes featuring lions and deer, alternating with medallions of Islamic script. The rim has a raised etched "boteh" or paisley design in the Qalamzani style. This finely crafted tray measures 22" across by 1" deep and weighs 10 pounds.

Meticulously hand carved Kashmiri Tea Dump. Lightly patinated, This particular Pot has some amazingly fine foliate detail featuring paisley snakes. The opening of the caged area has a pair of peacocks on either side. It is in very good condition. Measuring 8.5" tall, and 6" in diameter, and weighing one and a quarter pounds before packing, this is far more solid and substantial than usual for Kashmir brass work from this period. I'm told that coals would be loaded into the pot, and a cord would be attached to the loop, and it would be worn to help the wearer stay warm. This is estimated to be made in Kashmir 100 to 150 years ago.

This Kashmiri candle holder is meticulously hand carved. Heavily patinated, this particular candleholder has some amazingly fine foliate detail featuring flowers and leaves, With a twelve lobed foliate base, a vining stem, a heavily detailed spouted bowl with a serpent handle. A white medium has been worked into the recesses for contrast. It is in excellent condition, Measuring 9" tall, and 4.5" across. Weighing slightly under a pound this is far more solid and substantial than usual for Kashmir copper work from this period. This is estimated to be made in Kashmir 100 to 150 years ago.
