20th century Mamluk revival Cairoware inlaid tray. This tray has two different Islamic Star and script cartouches with a simple Islamic calligraphy Bismillah in the center. There are also chain panel details encircleing the tray near the edge. The tray measures 15.75" across. and weighs 2.5 pounds. It has a light patina, and the piece is overall in good condition, cosidering it's age.

There are also chain panel details encircleing the tray near the edge. The tray measures 15" across. and weighs 3 pounds. It has a light patina, and the piece is overall in good condition, cosidering it's age.

This charming Kashmir enameled pot is meticulously hand carved, and enameled. It has some amazingly fine foliate detail featuring flowers and leaves, with a serpent handle, and is in excellent condition, Measuring 3.5" tall, and 2.75" across. Weighing a quarter pound this are far more solid and substantial than usual for Kashmir copperwork from this period, this pot is quite solid. This piece is estimated to be made in Kashmir 100 to 150 years ago.

Intricately carved Syrian/Egyptian Lamp. Most likely used in a Synagogue for use as the Ner Tamid Eternal Light. Estimated to be from Mid to Late 19th c. The top is incised with mythical beasts. The fretwork which holds it together have rooster and crescent moon screw tops. This unusual Indo Persian Samovar is plated in tin and intricately carved in a geometric floral design and a silver wash which is mostly worn revealing the copper below. It measures 16" to the top of the coal chamber and 7" in diameter across the belly, with a spread of 9" from the dragon handle to the spout etched with a fish. By the mineral deposits within, it appears to have been well used. The lid is missing. The overall condition is good with a dent at the fretwork base. ...click for details
