Charming pair of 900 Egyptian Silver candlesticks in a simple, understated tapered baluster supporting an urn shaped candle cup, set on a spreading, circular base. These are unweighted, and I would recommend adding weights if using tall tapers. Hallmarks are as shown on the stem and base of each candlestick. I believe that these are from around 1960. They measure a little over 8 inches tall by 3.5 inches across, and weighing 9.2 ounces.

There is a second identical pair available with one tiny dent on the stem of one candlestick available at a $25.00 discount. A jeweler might be able to minimize the dent. You may order one or both pairs using the order button.

Vintage Brazier or Censer likely a reproduction of an earlier design. At first glance, the overall design appears to be Qajar Persian with the typical themes of birds and deer. However, it is marked with the name of the manufacturer and "made in Greece". The design is subtly carved with pierced areas which will let light through if a candle is burned within. The inside seems to be painted gold, perhaps to enhance reflectivity. This has water marks inside from previous use as a planter. The body of the piece is made of hand worked copper, and the handles are cast brass. This has three handles which is unusual for this sort of piece, possibly symbolic of the Holy Trinity. Measuring 7" high, by 10" across, this highly unusual piece weighs about 3 pounds.

This is a very simple copper aftaba or pitcher embellished with four medallions, three with a rose theme, and the fourth, under the spout, a small tree. There is dovetailing evident across the belly where the top and bottom were joined. The spout has a slightly sharper bend from being bumped. At some point there was a silver wash applied, which has mostly worn away. This style of carving is more associated with Afghanistan rather than Iran. The pot measures 13.75" tall by 5.25" diameter and 8.5" from handle to spout and weighs a little over 3 pounds.

A smaller scale Moroccan shoeshine box intended for use as a personal valet for maintaining one's clothing and shoes. Various bottles for cleaning products as well as rose water and and other perfuming agents. It measures 12" long, by 11.5" tall, by 5" deep, and weighs about 8 pounds before packing. Although one would usually associate this style of shoeshine box with Turkey, the enameling is consistent in color and texture to Moroccan enamel, and I have seen similar full sized shoeshine boxes in use in Morocco in the past.
